Slap night

Setup
Shuffle. Deal the whole deck as evenly as you can. Players do not look at their cards. They hold them face-down. Sit where everyone can reach the center. Jewelry that scratches cards comes off. Agree that a slap has to be open-palm, not a grab.
Play
- On your turn, flip one card from your stack into the center and say the next word in the loop: taco, cat, goat, cheese, pizza, then repeat.
- If the word you were required to say matches the picture you just flipped, everyone slaps the pile.
- Also slap on the special cards your deck marks — typically gorilla, groundhog, and narwhal — no matter what word was due. Show those three cards before you start.
- Last hand to slap takes the center pile and puts it under their own stack. More cards is worse. You are trying to run out.
- If you slap wrong, you take the pile too. Honest tables call their own false slaps.
Winning and ties
First player with no cards left wins, as long as they did not false-slap on that last flip. If two hands hit together, the hand that is visibly underneath wins the slap, or you leave the pile and continue — pick one before the game, not during a tie.
Mistakes
- Looking at your card before you flip it. The word is a rhythm, not a choice.
- Skipping a word after a slap. The next player continues the sequence; do not restart unless the table voted to restart.
- Playing on a wet table. Dry the surface. These are not waterproof.

Best of three, or one round if dinner is ready. The game does not get deeper. It gets louder.
