Naughty-theme grab list
Lead with Cards Against Humanity for classic adult blanks. Keep What Do You Meme? for caption nights and Disturbed Friends for roast-light prompts.
- Top pick: Cards Against Humanity → Amazon — dark fill-ins for sealed 18+ rooms
- Also great: What Do You Meme? → Amazon — meme captions with rotating judges
- Roast / clue lane: Disturbed Friends → Amazon · Dirty Minds → Amazon
Consent first (then themes)
Naughty themes only work when the guest list opts in. Put spice level on the invite, offer a clean activity lane, and announce veto + no-filming before the first prompt. Hierarchy (bosses, clients) changes what “funny” means — when in doubt, keep it PG-13.
Theme ideas that actually ship
- Black-card speakeasy: low lights + Cards Against Humanity + mocktail “cover charges.”
- Meme museum: print absurd art; play What Do You Meme? as the gallery night.
- Roast & toast: Disturbed Friends with a kindness veto and dessert breaks.
- Dirty Santa after-dark: steal gifts then open Dirty Minds — see Dirty Santa games.
- Halloween adults-only fork: costumes + Halloween adult games shortlist.
Host checklist
- Explicit 18+ on the invite.
- Quiet room for people who want soft conversation.
- Snack density > drink density.
- One clean deck visible even on spicy nights.
2-hour adult theme script
- 0–20: arrivals + soft icebreaker.
- 20–55: What Do You Meme? warm-up.
- 55–100: CAH or Disturbed Friends.
- 100–120: dessert + optional Dirty Santa steals.
Common mistakes
- Surprise spice on a mixed guest list.
- Starting with the meanest deck cold.
- No veto / filming without consent.
- Theme décor without a game plan.
Invite copy that sets expectations
Write the spice level in plain English: “18+ humor, phones-down game table, opt-outs welcome.” Guests who need a softer night will self-select — that is a feature. Include dress code only if it helps the theme (speakeasy black, costume minimal) rather than forcing discomfort.
If energy spikes too hard
- Swap to dessert and a soft conversation game.
- Park CAH and open What Do You Meme? for lighter captions.
- Or end the spicy lane and see game night hub picks.
